CAREER INTERNSHIP ABROAD (CIA) is a career and education counseling firm founded to help promote cultural exchange opportunities for students, young professionals and qualified teachers wanting to travel and experience practical “on the job” training in an international business and school based in the United States of America and other foreign countries. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the American business methods, strategies, practices, and immerse themselves into the American society and culture. We are in this business because we love exploring new and exciting cultures and facilitating unique and enriching opportunities for others to see, touch, taste, smell and hear what the world has to offer. We aim to give our young professionals the real edge in their careers and in order for them to become globally competitive.

We have partnered with a number of host companies, visa sponsors, and educational institutions who share in our vision and passion for providing exciting international cultural exchange opportunities.

Our partners in USA are designated by the Department of State as sponsors of an Exchange Visitor Program under the "Trainee" category. This designation allows our USA partners to issue Form DS2019 to qualified Career Training Program participants in order to apply for the J1 visa at the USA Embassy



CIA OFFICERS

RENATO D. BUENO is Chief Executive Officer of Career Internship Abroad.  He obtained his Law degree and Bachelor of Arts major in Economics in the Philippines. He has many years of experience in USA and Canada immigration business and worked in the past with Philippine government corporations as Technical Adviser to the President and Chairman of Social Security Commission and Chief of the Regulations, Audit and Investigation Division of Philippine Gamefowl Commission under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

On June 28, 2008 he founded his own cultural exchange office Career Internship Abroad and registered it as a Corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission after obtaining several years of working experience with a USA Immigration Law firm.
 
OLIVIA VILLAFRANCA is the Chief Finance Officer of Career Internship Abroad. She took up Business Administration major in Accounting from Philippine School of Business Administration. She is member of the Board of Directors of the corporation.
 
CATHERINE B. BALOLONG is CIA's Human Resource Officer. She graduated with a degree in Political Science and Law. She worked for three (3) years with a reputable law firm prior to joining Career Internship Abroad.
 
CHRISTOPHER B. LACHICA is International Account Manager of Career Internship Abroad. Prior to his designation as Account Manager, Lachica attended several on the job trainings in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Palm Springs Westin Hotel in California; and South Dakota, USA. He is likewise member of the Board of Directors of the firm.
 
ABIGAIL D. ORENCIA is CIA's Marketing Officer. She graduated from University of Sto. Tomas with a degree in Communication Arts. She has had ample experiences in the field of internet marketing and advertising prior to joining Career Internship Abroad.
 
MARICAR SISON is the Administrative Assistant of the firm. She took up Nursing from Fatima School of Nursing.
