HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE USA TRAINING PROGRAM?
To qualify for Internship:
- Currently enrolled in a university or recent graduates with a degree in hospitality management, tourism, culinary arts, business administration, information technology, accounting, and other related science courses who will begin within 12 months from date of graduation.
To qualify for Traineeship:
- Bachelor’s Degree holder and with at least one (1) year of relevant experience; or if non-graduate with five (5) years of relevant experience.

Download and fill out the CV. After filling out the CV submit it together with a cover letter stating why you want to participate in our internship/career training abroad to resume@internshipabroad.net The U.S. resume is slightly different from the C.V. that is used in many other countries. First of all, your resumes should be brief (1 page), and do not include personal information like age, marital status, or religion. Resumes should be easy to understand and briefly highlight your skills and experience.

- After we receive your application our Program Consultant will contact you by e-mail or telephone to schedule an interview/orientation session. The application process is non-competitive. The session is used as a way to get to know you, your goals for the program and to answer any questions you may have.
- After your interview, our Program Consultant will discuss with you the details of the internship/career training program. You will be provided a customized program proposal for you to share with your family, friends and/or faculty advisors.
- Upon your acceptance of the career training/internship offer, our program consultant will then ask you to sign an internship service agreement with us and pay the registration fee of U$150.00 so we can proceed to the next step in the enrolment process. A deposit of U$500.00 will be due within 7 days after signing the internship service agreement with CIA.
- Once payment of the deposit of U$500.00 is made, we will start endorsing and negotiating the CV to our USA partner firms.
- An interview schedule will be arranged with the Sponsoring company (normally during night time). Applicant will be interviewed via overseas call or Skype. Each J-1 applicant is required to open a Skype account.
- Once accepted by the J-1 sponsoring company, the training plan, agreement, and other necessary documents will be prepared to obtain the DS-2019. DS-2019 is a US government document to be issued by our USA partner firm as per authority of USA Department of State necessary for your US embassy visa interview. A training manual will be provided to the successful J1 applicant.
- Upon approval of DS-2019, USA embassy visa interview will follow.
