AUSTRALIA HOSPITALITY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

		HOSPITALITY PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Hospitality Program is a paid internship program offered to highly skilled candidates that are completing or have completed hospitality studies and have relevant hospitality experience. The Hospitality Program offers 6, 9 or 12 month options. Positions are available in Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and Cookery.
Valuable Information on Hospitality Program: Internship applications must be lodged a minimum of six (6) months prior to internship commencement or arrival in Australia. 4 months for candidates with a suitable working visa. All candidates must complete an interview before being accepted into the internship program. Candidates must be willing to complete their internship in a hotel, resort or restaurant in any of the major tourist centres throughout Australia. The first week in the workplace for all interns will be focussed on training and induction. Interns will be required to cover the cost of their travel and accommodation Must Popular Destinations: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Great Barrier Reef, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, among others. Candidates are required to complete a skills audit which is to be signed by a workplace supervisor or a teacher of hospitality prior acceptance into the program. Internship Payment for Hospitality Candidates: Internships are arranged on a full time basis with interns working a minimum of 25 hours per week. The average hourly rate for interns is AU$12-$15. This wage may vary depending on the Host Organization and intern working hours. Responsible Service of Alcohol(RSA): All interns who opt for the Hospitality Internship Program must present a copy of their RSA certificate or complete the online RSA course, prior to commencing their internship in Australia. According to the U.S. Department of State regulations for the program, jobs cannot be as a domestic worker in a household, a childcare provider, a camp counselor or any job that requires you to invest your own funds for the purpose of door-to-door sales.

CIA partner firms in USA will confirm each Independent job to ensure it meets the criteria of the U.S. Department of State regulations and reserves the right to decline a host company that does not meet the Department of State own internal requirements.

2. After the interview, the representative will show you complete descriptions of available jobs that meet your needs and qualifications
3. You select a Premium job and sign an agreement to accept it, or you arrange your own Independent job
4. CIA will schedule another interview with you to ensure you meet the particular requirements for your Premium job; we confirm your placement and eligibility for Independent jobs
5. We collect all documents and fees for submission
6. We assist you with your visa application
7. We provide you with support and pre-departure orientation before you leave for the USA
